Joel Drazner

Picture
For nearly three decades, Joel Drazner has been polishing the prose of books and other publications, both in-house for spiritually focused publisher World Tribune Press, and as a freelancer and ghostwriter. He is the main editor for the award-winning Middleway Press self-improvement bestseller The Buddha In Your Mirror (his title), and Unlocking the Mysteries of Birth and Death (Middleway); and his clients include The Getty Center (Los Angeles); jazz icon Herbie Hancock; the AmoraMED Institute (Del Mar, Calif. - amoramed.com); and the International Committee of Artists for Peace, whose website (icapeace.org) he currently edits.

Joel’s professional experience began with a five-year copywriter stint at pioneering ad agency J. Walter Thompson. His achievements there include writing and directing radio spots voiced by legendary Los Angeles Lakers announcer Chick Hearn (for Sears); naming a motorcycle (the Kawasaki Spectre); and conceiving, writing and directing the whimsical “Noodleman” radio campaign for the late, lamented national weekly newspaper, All-Sports.

As a writer and copyeditor, Joel uses his skills to foster value-creative projects and help clients put forward their authentic voice.
